Be equipped by a learning and action journey through Hearts Exchanged

Lifelong Learning at Calvin Theological Seminary seeks to support you in your call to be an ambassador of reconciliation in a hurting world.

We hope you will join us this winter for our fully online, four-week course Truth, Reconciliation, and Exchanging Hearts: A Canadian Model. This course is a unique opportunity designed to equip Reformed Christians to participate more fully in the journey of reconciliation with Indigenous people.

In the course, students are formed for contextualized ministry by:

  • Learning from Indigenous stories, practices and treaty traditions
  • Critical consideration of historical interactions between Indigenous peoples and settlers
  • Reflection on the gifts and responsibilities of contemporary reconciliation efforts, such as the 2015 report from Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

To hear more about Hearts Exchanged, the vision of the course, and its impact on past participants, we invite you to read this article by Anita Brinkman from CRC Communications.
